New digital camera

Today I ordered a new camera.

I already have a good one: Konica Minolta Dynax 7D. But this one is so big and not so habile. Perfect to make nice pictures, but not so good to take-away.

The new one will be a Casio EXILIM EX-V7. I hope that with this very small and handy camera I will do more pictures. And I would also like to make some videos in future. Hope to show you some right here...

Mr. Brooks aka Taking Lives

Fascinating movie.

With Mona and Eike I went to cinema last night. Amazing how two brave soldiers holed up theirselfes while Mona was watching that movie without even showing any emotion.

Following "Matchpoint" and some other movies it is once again a story where the bad guy becomes the good one in the eyes of the viewers.

Mr. Brooks is two hours of good entertainment. Bloody but not to scarry. Look and see!

Youth Exchange 2008

These days I am working on planning a youth exchange that will hopefully take place in Germany in 2008 [22nd - 31st of July].

I already found a very nice location next to my parents village: www.nengshof.de where a group of roundabout 30 youngsters would have place to sleep and live.

In this exchange I would like to show young european people some basics about food. First of all where food comes from. I wanna visit some special places that are typical for food production, like a farm, a bakery or a brewery.
And whatever we will see in this places should establish a basis for the workshops in the camp itself: the youngsters should work with all these products and make their own bread, nuddles or a piece of butter, for example.

But first of all I have to apply financial support for that project from the European Union. That means to fill out many papers and find the right words that the policy makers will accept.

So keep your fingers crossed for my application!!!

Warum ein Blog?

Altobelli. Gründe einen eigenen Blog zu schreiben gibt es viele, vor allem aber bin ich cool und gehe mit der Zeit :-)

1. Mir ist letzens ein sehr schönes Lied begegnet und das gab letzten Endes den Ausschlag dazu einen Blog zu schreiben: http://www.esistallesok.de/attachments/dl_13.mp3.
Hört mal rein, die Band ist zu empfehlen. Und mit dem Blog möchte ich jedem die Gelegenheit geben mehr als nur BlaBlaBla zu erfahren, weil auf Gespräche wie im Song demonstiert habe auch ich keine Lust.

2. Für meine Promotion, die sich vor allem um Neue Medien und das Web2.0 drehen wird, muss ich auch endlich mal aktiv den Charakter eines Blogs erfahren.

3. Vor allem aber würde ich mich sehr freuen über jede Antwort bzw. jeden Kommentar von jedem von euch.
